Hi there, and welcome to Salt & Sunshine Life! I’m Brenna–a full-time working mom of two little wild ones, navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood near the coast in Hampstead, NC. I created this space because, truthfully?

I needed it.

Why I Started Salt & Sunshine Life

When I was in the trenches of two under two (my girls are 14 months apart), I longed for a place to find quick, real-life mom tips, fun activities, and just a reminder that I wasn’t alone in the beautiful mess of motherhood. I wanted a way to preserve the memories I was making, but also to share them with other moms who might need a little inspiration, support, or even just a moment of “I feel that too.”

Because let’s be real–motherhood is a LOT.

There’s so much to learn, absorb, and lean on. So much advice, information, and (let’s be honest) noise. It can be overwhelming, and if you’re anything like me, you just want simple, realistic ways to make life with little ones a little easier and a lot more fun.

I’ve learned to lean into the chaos, embrace the crazy (a little), and let go of the idea that I have to have it all together. My life is no longer just my own–I’m living outside myself now, with my heart walking around in two tiny-sized bodies. And I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
