There’s nothing better than making memories with my girls, especially when those memories involve adorable animals, holiday magic, and small-town charm. Over the holidays, we took a short drive to Agape Farm of Watha, NC, for a festive day filled with farm fun, Santa visits, and sweet moments that we’ll cherish forever. It’s only about 30 minutes from where we live in Hampstead, but well worth it!
Meet the Animals at Agape Farm
One of the best parts of Agape Farm is the chance to get up close with their friendly farm animals! The girls had an absolute blast meeting:
βοΈ Highland cows – The fluffiest, most adorable cows you’ll ever see!
βοΈ Goats – Always a favorite for little hands to pet and feed.
βοΈ Chickens – The girls loved spotting different colors and sized.
βοΈ Lambs & Sheep – So adorable!
βοΈ Cows & Mini Ponies – Watching them up close was so much fun!
βοΈ Bunnies –
The farm is the perfect hands-on experience for toddlers and young kids, giving them the chance to interact with animals in a relaxed, safe setting.

Visit with Santa
To make the day even more special, the girls got a magical visit with Santa! We were able to take a picture with the big guy himself (cue the mix of excitement, hesitation, then complete toddler terror). Not sure if Madeline will ever recover (see below), but Santa was a gem. They also have an adorable North Pole mailbox where kiddos can write letters to Santa (because we have some very important Christmas wishes!).

The Best Photo Ops
At every turn at Agape Farm, they have numerous photo opportunities, whether it’s feeding the animals, catching and holding a chicken, sending a letter to Santa, pouring hot cocoa at the hot chocolate stand, riding in the giant wagon, or hopping in the little one with an adorable tree tied on top, they have several spots to snap the cutest pic of your little ones.

Oh, did I mention they also have fake snow? Yes, they have fake snow. It was so magical! (Except when Madeline tried eating it, that was chaotic, but thankfully short-lived.)
